We were proud to share a booth with La Trobe University and the La Trobe Institute for Sustainable Agriculture and Food (LISAF). It was a fantastic opportunity to connect with key players shaping the future of the sector.
A highlight of the event was a presentation by Dr Kim Johnson, Chief Investigator at PC Hub, in the session “Training Opportunities for a Diverse Range of Agriculture Careers.”
In her presentation, Kim explored the breadth of career pathways within the agriculture sector — from agronomy and animal health to agribusiness, communications, and digital technologies. She showed how people from a variety of backgrounds can apply their skills and interests to make a real impact.
Key takeaways from Kim’s session:
- There are opportunities to train in a broad range of agriculture topics
- Apply your interests and skills to Agriculture industries
- Agriculture careers are broad and need people with innovative mindsets
Events like FutureAg Expo highlight the exciting future of agriculture and the vital role of collaboration between research, education, and industry. We look forward to building on the connections made and continuing to promote pathways into this dynamic sector.
Stay tuned for updates on our research, industry collaborations, and opportunities to engage with the PC Hub.
