Taking place on 11–12 August 2026 at Crown Promenade, Melbourne, the conference brings together researchers, growers, clinicians, regulators and industry leaders to explore the latest advances and opportunities shaping Australia’s medicinal cannabis sector. This year’s theme, “Cultivating Trust. Navigating Change.”, highlights the importance of collaboration, innovation and evidence-based research in supporting the industry’s continued growth.
The PC Hub is also delighted to have Dr Matthew Welling, Research Fellow at the ARC Research Hub for Protected Cropping, presenting at the conference. Matthew’s presentation will showcase how advanced multi-omics approaches are being used to accelerate pre-breeding and develop novel medicinal cannabis lines with enhanced traits, broadening opportunities beyond the major cannabinoids.
