Education & Training
Training
Through its regional campuses and industry partnerships, the PC Hub will deliver education and training in horticultural R&D, automation, IoT, and big data. Students will also receive training in policy, regulation, project management, IP, and commercialisation with mentoring from both academic and industry experts.
To extend its impact, the Hub will run public engagement initiatives, host regular seminars and hackathons, and offer entrepreneurship training to foster innovation and industry transformation.
La Trobe University is strongly committed to developing the next generation of skilled professionals for Australia’s protected cropping and AgTech sectors. The PC Hub will contribute directly to national goals outlined in the Australian Government’s Ag2030 strategy and the National Farmers’ Federation 2030 Roadmap by helping address critical workforce shortages in agriculture.
